Reviews & press
Nine months. 58 kitchens. Four cafés.
Before we took a single deposit, pre-production machines went to home baristas and working cafés for daily use. Here is everything they told us, the lower ratings included.

From 58 beta owners, December 2025 to August 2026
Most-praised: temperature stability, the steam wand and how quiet the rotary pump is. Most-asked-for: a cup warmer that heats faster, which we fixed for production.

It replaced my café habit in a week
I was spending more on flat whites than this costs over two years. Eight minutes from cold, and the steam wand is as good as the one at my local.

The profiles changed how I buy coffee
Bloom finally made my light roasts taste like the bag says. I save my own lever curve for darker beans. All from the dial, no app.

Quiet enough for a 6 a.m. kitchen
My last machine woke the house. This one hums. The kids sleep through the first two shots and the grinder is now the loudest thing in the room.

I opened it up, on purpose
Four screws and the shell lifts off. I swapped a group gasket in ten minutes with the published manual. That alone sold me.

Superb, but plan the counter
Shots are the best I have pulled at home. It is deep, though: measure under your cabinets first. The cup tray took a while to warm, which Morrow says is fixed.

Great machine, slow start for me
The learning curve was real and my first month of shots were sour. Support walked me through grind and ratio on a call. Now it is great; the manual should start simpler.
Jordan B., Phoenix · first espresso machine
What changed because of these reviews: a faster cup warmer, a simpler first chapter in the manual, and the Coffee Guide, written for Jordan.
03 Café trial
Four cafés ran it as their second group.
A home machine has an easy life. We wanted to see it fail, so four cafés ran one beside their commercial machines, pulling 150 to 300 shots a week for six months.

Held temperature through a Saturday rush
We used it for decaf and guest coffees. Six months, roughly 6,000 shots, one gasket. The steam boiler kept up with a full brunch service.

Our baristas fought over it
The lever group feels like our commercial machine, and the profiling taught our new staff more about extraction than any training day.

04 Press
Early words from people who test machines for a living.
“The first home machine I have used that feels designed rather than assembled.”
Crema Quarterly · beta review
“Pressure profiling without an app or a learning cliff. The dial and the gauge are all you need.”
Home Barista Review · first look
“A published service manual and ten years of parts. The rarest feature in this price range is honesty.”
The Counter Report · hands-on
How these reviews were collected: 58 owners and 4 cafés used pre-production machines between December 2025 and August 2026. Owners bought their machines at a beta price and nobody was paid for a review. We publish every rating we received, edited only for length. On this sample site, the names, reviews and publications are invented.
