Support & FAQ
Help from the people who built it.
Every question here reaches the same small team in Portland that designs, assembles and repairs the Morrow One. Start with a topic, or just ask.
01 Questions
The ones we hear most.
Tap a question to open it. Anything missing? Ask us and we usually reply the same working day.
Ordering & deposits
How does the $100 deposit work?
It holds your place in the first batch of 400 machines. Nothing else is charged until we confirm your ship date, about four weeks ahead, when we ask for the remaining $1,790. Cancel any time before then and the full $100 comes back to you.
Can I change my finish after reserving?
Yes. Change between brushed steel, obsidian, sage and bone right up until your machine enters assembly. Every finish costs the same. Reply to your confirmation email or use the link in it.
Is there a 230 V version?
The first batch is 120 V, 15 A for the US and Canada. A 230 V version follows with the second batch. Choose it on the reservation form to join that list without a deposit.
Delivery & setup
When will my machine arrive?
The first batch ships from Portland in February 2027, in reservation order. Shipping in the contiguous US is included and fully insured. We email a tracking link and an expected date the day it leaves the workshop.
Will it fit under my cabinets?
It is 34 cm wide, 42 cm deep and 39 cm tall. Leave 8 cm above to lift the cup rail and fill the tank, and 3 cm behind for the cable. Try your own numbers in the 3D fit check; the installation notes beside it cover power and water.
Do I need to plumb it in?
No. It runs from a 2.5 L tank out of the box. If you would rather never fill a tank, the $95 plumb-in kit connects it to a cold-water line with an inline softener. Most owners fit it in under an hour.
Warranty & repair
What does the warranty cover?
Three years on everything: boilers, pump, electronics, the finish and the walnut. If it fails, we send the part with instructions, or collect the machine and return it repaired at no charge. Gaskets and shower screens are wear parts and are not covered.
What happens after the warranty ends?
We keep every part in stock for at least ten years after a batch ships, and publish the full service manual. You can repair it yourself, use any espresso technician, or send it to us for a flat-rate service.
02 Care & cleaning
Ten minutes a week keeps it like new.
A cleaning kit ships with every machine: a blind basket, group brush, detergent and the first water filter.
| Task | How | When |
|---|---|---|
| Purge the wand | Wipe with a damp cloth and open the steam for one second. | Every drink |
| Water backflush | Blind basket in, lift the lever five times for five seconds. | Daily |
| Detergent backflush | Same again with half a scoop of detergent, then rinse. | Weekly |
| Basket and portafilter | Soak in hot water and detergent for 20 minutes. | Weekly |
| Water filter | Swap the tank filter. The panel reminds you. | 2 months |
| Group gasket and screen | Four minutes with the tool in the kit. | Yearly |
| Walnut panels | A thin coat of the hard wax oil in the box, buffed off. | Yearly |
With the filter, the Morrow One does not need descaling. If you use unfiltered hard water, descale every six months with the cycle in the service menu.
