Cookie Policy
This policy explains how smallbusinessactivation.com (AgentX, LLC) uses cookies and similar technologies. It is part of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Essential cookies
We always set the cookies needed to run the Service. They do not track you across sites and are not used for advertising.
| Cookie / storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
Session cookie (__Host-sba_session) |
Keeps you signed in. It is HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, and holds a random token, not personal data | Up to 30 days of activity, removed when you sign out |
Support chat cookie (sba_support) |
Set only if you use the support chat without being signed in. It is HttpOnly and holds a random token that lets you return to your conversation; we store only a hash of it | 30 days |
Support chat storage (sba.support.v1, in your browser's local storage) |
Remembers which chat conversation is yours on this device. Never sent to advertisers | Until you clear it or the chat is closed |
Consent preference (sba_consent) |
Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again | 12 months |
Because these cookies are strictly necessary, they are used without asking for consent. You can block them in your browser, but sign-in and forms will not work.
Analytics
We measure basic traffic with cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). It does not set cookies or use persistent identifiers to follow individuals across sites. IP addresses we keep for abuse control are stored only as keyed hashes. See the Privacy Policy.
Optional analytics (only if you accept)
If you press Accept on the cookie banner, we also load Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on our public marketing and legal pages. They do not run on signed-in pages (sign-in, your dashboard, the admin area). Advertising features are off.
| Tool | Cookies it may set | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) | _ga, _ga_<ID> (up to 2 years) |
Counts visits and shows which pages and features are used |
| Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) | _clck (up to 1 year), _clsk (1 day), CLID, MUID |
Heatmaps and anonymised session replays of how pages are used |
If you press Reject, do nothing, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, neither tool loads or sets anything.
Clarity is set to strict masking, so it does not record the text on the page or anything you type. Google signals and Google's advertising features are off. Google keeps Analytics event data for 14 months; Microsoft keeps Clarity session recordings for up to 30 days.
Websites we build for you
Sites we generate for you are static and are built without cookies, trackers or third-party requests. If you later add cookies or tracking tools to your own site, you are responsible for your own cookie notices and consent.
How consent works
Optional analytics are off by default and do not load or set anything until you opt in:
- the cookie banner lets you Accept or Reject, with Reject as easy to use as Accept;
- we record your choice in the consent preference cookie (
sba_consent, 12 months), and you can change or withdraw it at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer; - withdrawing consent stops the tools going forward;
- we will update this policy before adding any other non-essential cookies (for example marketing cookies).
We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a refusal of optional analytics.
